Joe has been playing in the Orange County California punk band The Vandals since 1981. He started as the drummer and switched to the bass guitar in 1985. The band continues to thrive, touring throughout the world whenever time allows.  Among the recent concerts were the Groezrock Festival in Belgium, Bamboozle Festival in California, Punkafoolic Festival in Tokyo,  Ink & Iron Festival in California  and at Red Rocks with the Offspring.


The Vandals look forward to playing more shows for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
